Wyandotte

Wyandotte chickens, developed in the United States from various European and Asian breeds, lay eggs in hues ranging from tan to pink, which occasionally may have spots.. They are respected for their egg-laying abilities, though egg production can vary slightly. Additionally, they are plump and flavourful, making them suitable for meat production. Wyandottes were originally bred for both egg-laying and meat production, a purpose that remains unchanged today. While Wyandottes are often described as gentle and docile, our experience suggests they can exhibit a streak of assertiveness. We breed exclusively the silver-laced feather colour variety.
