Breeding show poultry to adhere to breed standards presents significant challenges, particularly due to the limited gene pools available in South Africa for the vast majority if breeds that we keep.
This situation is compounded by what appears to be either extreme inbreeding or, conversely, some dilution of the bloodlines.
Consequently, even when parentstock are sourced from reputable show lines and align perfectly with breed standards, a substantial proportion of the offspring fail to meet these standards.
This limitation means we are unable to offer fertile eggs or chicks for sale. Our commitment to maintaining the integrity of breed standards necessitates that show poultry are only made available after they matured.
Following the selection of poultry for our next season’s breeding stock, any surplus will be offered on auction through the Glorious Elite Poultry Auctions (GEPA).

We can ship adult chickens via a pet courier that covers your area.
All shipping is at buyer’s cost.
